​NO ONE CAN EVER TAKE AWAY A CHILD'S EDUCATION. However, a child needs to flourish in school first. Rising costs are placing basic necessities outside of the reach of many families in New Jersey, and things like school supplies are falling by the wayside entirely.

Children who experience material hardships are at risk to miss educational opportunities that can break the cycle of generational poverty. And this cycle is vividly clear in New Jersey where more than 1.2 million state residents live their lives right around the poverty line.
