Help Support Our Furry Friends with The Menard Group

The Menard Group continues to support Eleventh Hour Rescue, a no-kill shelter located in Randolph, Rockaway, Flanders and Kearny. Noelle does administrative work form them and we are always looking for donations of cleaning supplies, old towels and blankets.
Just let us know and we'll stop by and pick up a donation!

 Meet Reese Lonestar from Eleventh Hour Rescue. Reese is a handsome German Shepherd/Hound mix who is about 3 years old. He currently lives in a foster home and his foster parents are working on basic obedience with him. Reese can get overstimulated in his play and needs a family who can commit to continue his training. He loves meeting new people and is very friendly. Reese gets along well with other dogs as long as they are of a similar size and activity level. Reese would do best in a home with a fenced yard or a family who can give him the adequate exercise he needs. He does like children, but would do best in a home without young children as he gets excited when playing. Reese is very affectionate and eager to please.  He prefers a home without cats.  Meet Mr Zack from Eleventh Hour Rescue: Mr Zack is a sweet boy who has been through a tough time this past year. The only family he has ever known wanted to euthanize him because he was sick.  A very nice vet examined him and determined he was treatable and still had a good quality of life. 

When Mr Zack came to us he was scared and nervous. Over the past year, Mr Zack has become very trusting of his foster mom and no longer hides. He knows when it is time to eat and will purr for his food.  He loves to sit on her lap when she is working and loves to cuddle. He has been known to wrap his front paws around her neck for a kitty hug.

Mr Zack needs an understanding and patient family that will give him time to come out of his shell on his terms. Once he is comfortable with you he will be your best friend. Mr Zack does have a digestive issue that is managed well with medicine and a stress-free environment.  

Mr Zack loves to have all the attention of his human so he would do best as the king of the castle, although he doesn't mind the occasional company of a calm dog.  Zack is patient with children that can be patient with him.
