This past Sunday our Lakeland Hills YMCA Swim TeamOur Lakeland Hills YMCA Swim Team hosted an incredible Polar Plunge event this past Sunday. The event included an Incredible conversation with 16-time U.S Paralympic Gold Medalist Jessica Long.

Jessica shared her remarkable story about challenges and triumph... and how, even with the odds stacked against her, she became the best in the world at her sport.

After she spoke- we headed to Birchwood Lake where over 130 brave souls plunged into the freezing water!

This event supported the community efforts at our Y and we are SO grateful to everyone who participated!!!
